Cost of Living Assistance
A one-time financial aid granted to Bahraini families facing financial hardship and challenging living conditions, excluding the families of widows and orphans already supported by the Foundation. This assistance can cover living expenses, educational costs, fire damage, court-ordered debt relief, and rainwater damage. The amount provided is determined based on the family’s social case study and needs.

Note : The service completion time is the time taken to complete the internal procedures for the application, noting that disbursing the amount of living assistance takes from one to two years, and for debtors, fire, and study aid, it takes a maximum of two months.
- The applicant must be a Bahraini national or a family member.
- The applicant must reside in kingdom of bahrain.
- The family must not own more than one commercial business.
- The family’s income must not exceed the specified threshold for assistance.
- The marriage must be legally contracted and authenticated by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments (Al-Awqaf).
- A copy of the smart card for the husband, wife, and all unmarried family members residing in the home.
- A copy of the marriage contract
- A copy of the salary slip for the husband and wife (if applicable), or proof of retirement pension (for retired individuals). For marriage assistance, only the husband’s salary slip is required.
- A copy of the statement of non-employment insurance (if neither spouse is working).
- Proof of financial obligations (e.g., debt documentation or a bank statement from the last three months, stamped by the bank, and not older than six months).
- A copy of the divorce decree (if applicable).
- A copy of the child custody documentation (in case of divorce).
- A copy of the document proving the wife’s desertion (if applicable).
- A copy of the civil defense report (for fire assistance), not older than (six months).
- A certificate of proof of debt issued by the execution directorate at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf (for debt relief), not older than six months.
- A copy of the student’s transcript for the last semester, with proof of completed hours (for educational assistance).
- A copy of the beneficiary’s bank account IBAN.
