About Us

On July 13 th , 2011, an agreement was signed between the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (formerly known as the Royal Charity Organization), the Real Madrid Foundation, and the Bahrain Football Association to establish the Real Madrid Academy Bahrain. This initiative, launched by the Real Madrid Foundation—the charitable arm of the renowned Real Madrid Club—aims to instill moral values and promote education through football. The program specifically targets orphans and underprivileged children globally, in line with the principle of community partnership.

The academy was officially inaugurated on May 6 th , 2014, and has since joined a network of over 200 Real Madrid academies worldwide. The Bahrain branch has brought joy to hundreds of young people in the Kingdom, benefiting boys and girls aged 6-17 years. The proceeds from the academy support the participating orphans.

Participants receive professional training and engage in tournaments and field trips, providing them with a well-rounded experience.

Our Motto

"You play, we teach."

This motto reflects the academy's approach, combining education and enjoyment. The curriculum, endorsed by the Real Madrid Academy, focuses on achieving practical outcomes through play. Local coaches, selected by the Real Madrid Academy, oversee the program, aiming to instill positive attitudes, ideas, and behavior patterns in the youth.

  • To promote positive values and ethics, nurturing responsible and well-rounded individuals.
  • To help each child realize their potential and offer a constructive outlet for stress and excess energy.
  • To establish a solid foundation for emerging football players in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
