Nasser Centre for Science and Technology
Shaping Futures, Building Skills
Established by a royal decree from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect him, Nasser Centre for Science and Technology was inaugurated in 2014. The center is dedicated to offering specialized and high-quality technical and industrial education, aiming to drive economic development and support the Kingdom of Bahrain's Vision 2030. It focuses on aligning its educational outcomes with labor market demands in knowledge, skills, and values, producing competitive professionals in industrial and technical fields. Nasser Center for Science and Technology strives to make its graduates the top choice for training and employment, thereby contributing significantly to national development.
As part of its strategic plan for 2021-2025, the center is set to evolve into a leading regional scientific and technical hub, offering integrated solutions to institutions and society. It aims to produce highly skilled Bahraini professionals with global competence by enhancing regional and international cooperation and partnerships. The center emphasizes both academic and personal development, equipping students with skills in professional and academic education, planning, organization, creativity, and hard-work. It focuses on future-oriented fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
Nasser Vocational Training Center is transitioning from being merely an educational and training facility to becoming an advanced academic complex, with plans to evolve into a comprehensive scientific city by 2025. Located in the Jaww area, it boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including digitized educational curricula, advanced classrooms, training workshops, gyms, a mosque, a medical clinic, and a research and development center specializing in artificial intelligence, among other features.
