  1. The disbursement period for humanitarian assistance is determined based on the type of assistance, as follows:
    • Marriage and Living Assistance: Between one to two years.
    • Medical, Debt Relief, Fire Relief, and Educational Assistance: Up to a maximum of two months.

  1. The amount of assistance depends on an individual assessment of each case.

  1. You can check the status of your application by visiting the Foundation’s website at www.rhf.gov.bh, going to the "Remote Customer Service Center" page, and using the inquiry icon to check your application status.

You can submit your application through the Foundation’s website at www.rhf.gov.bh, by visiting the "Remote Customer Service Center" page, and then proceeding to the humanitarian assistance section to apply. You may also use the user guide file that provides detailed steps for submitting your application.

  1. The income criterion depends on the type of assistance, as follows:
    • Marriage Assistance: BHD 1,000 net income of the husband only.
    • Medical Assistance: BHD 800 total net income of both spouses.
    • Living Assistance: BHD 600 total net income of both spouses.

  1. A monthly amount of BHD 60 is disbursed per individual, provided the application is approved.

  1. You can submit your application through the Foundation’s website at www.rhf.gov.bh, by visiting the "Remote Customer Service Center" page, and then proceeding to the orphans and widows sponsorship section. You may also use the user guide file that provides detailed steps for submitting your application. Additionally, you can apply via the e-Government Portal using the electronic key for widows at www.bahrain.bh.

  1. The monthly sponsorship amount is transferred by the 28th of each month, following receipt of the text message confirming the entitlement to sponsorship.

  1. Applications are reviewed by the specialized committee to determine eligibility for sponsorship.
